Where our data comes from
Banking product information on this site (home loans, savings accounts, term deposits, credit cards, personal loans and car loans) is sourced directly from each bank's and lender's public Consumer Data Right (CDR) Product Reference Data endpoints, published under the Consumer Data Standards (CDS) maintained by the Data Standards Body. Energy plans come from the Product Reference Data the Australian Energy Regulator hosts for retailers. Superannuation fees, returns and performance test results come from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority's (APRA) annual product performance publications.
These feeds are the same source of truth banks are legally required to keep up to date for their retail product offerings. We check and verify each bank's data against these CDR feeds twice a day and each energy retailer's plan data once a day, and stamp every comparison page with the date it was last checked, so you can see the data is current even when a product's rate hasn't changed in a while. Superannuation figures update when APRA republishes, and we check for a new publication every quarter.
We are not a credit provider
This site is a product comparison service only. We are not a credit provider, we do not provide credit advice, and we do not process applications. If you choose to apply for a product, you will be redirected to the provider's own website.
We are not an Accredited Data Recipient
We only consume public Product Reference Data. We do not access any consumer's banking data, account balances, or transactions.
